While on holiday I took my new, second hand surface pro... but when it comes to inking, it HATES me.  so a good friend of mine I was with, taught me how to paint instead.

step 1: sketch
step 2: fill in the area you want to paint
step 3: get good.
step 4: repeat step 3

I kind of like the results.  what do you guys think?
